This piece came from a really intuitive place. It’s that feeling of standing still for a second, taking it all in, and then moving forward anyway.
A lone rider facing the light, out in the desert, surrounded by color and texture. I focused a lot on building up the surface—especially in the cacti and foreground—so it has a lot of dimension in person.
There’s something about this one that feels quiet but also like something is shifting. Like you’re not where you started, but you’re not fully where you’re going yet either.
